  5.  Apogee have been around almost as long as shareware! They produce some of the
  6.  best games ever written for the PC.  These include classics such as Commander
  7.  Keen  and Duke Nuk'em.  Anything written by Apogee is always excellent!
  8.  
  9.  They  also created two of our most popular educational titles WORD RESCUE and
  10.  MATH RESCUE - please see educational section. Those with old Text or Hercules
  11.  monitors will find more Apogee titles (the Kroz series) under  the Monochrome
  12.  Games section.  CGA users will be interested in other titles found in the CGA
  13.  Games section ( Arctic Adventure,  Monuments Mars,  Pharaohs Tomb). Paganitzu
  14.  (below) also supports CGA as well as EGA. Most titles below need a minimum of
  15.  EGA - some of the very latest require VGA and at least a 386,  so please read
  16.  system requirements carefully before ordering.

  18.  All Apogee games feature save & restore, most have optional joystick support.
  19.  Later titles all have soundcard support with brilliant music & sound effects.
  20.  The shareware version  is always Part One of the  game -  registration brings
  21.  further parts (usually two or three) plus hints, cheats & tips. We can supply
  22.  registered versions of any Apogee program (for more details select REGISTERED

  49.  A departure for Apogee - strange cross between an adventure and a puzzle. All
  50.  the baddies from other video games  (Pacman, Invaders, etc.) have been stolen
  51.  by a  teddy. Yeet (and  Boik if playing  with two simultaneous  players) must
  52.  rescue  them by  grabbing "bopping  blocks" to  complete various patterns and
  53.  puzzles. A bizarre game that will not appeal to everyone although our 11 year
  54.  old tester  loved it! Some  animations are not  really suitable for  the very
  55.  young. Good graphics and soundcard  support. Shareware episode has 40 devious

  61.  In our opinion this is the best game EVER from Apogee! Very similar to "Super
  62.  Mario Kart" - it is a very fast racing game between animal competitors -  our
  63.  favourites include the tiger and the pelican. The graphics are brilliant, you
  64.  must avoid "newspaper-reading" hedgehogs and many other obstacles.  Choice of
  65.  tracks,  engine size and difficulty levels. Collect bonuses for weapons, skid
  66.  doing  hand brake  turns, shootout  zones (get  the ducks!).  Excellent sound
  67.  support and music. Joystick or keys. One  or two players (2 player game has a
  68.  split screen option and giggle keys to distract opponents!). A brilliant game
